John McKey opened this used and antique furnishings store three years ago in an effort to bring "good pieces at affordable prices" to the city. "I try hard to find basic pieces anywhere from the early 1900s to the 1970s that are in good condition and offer them at good prices," explains McKey. He's done a fine job. Here you'll find a selection of rustic tables, chairs, lamps and dressers, in near-finished or finished condition. There's nothing too eccentric, but plenty of the staples you'll need to begin a project, and some finishing touches as well. This is a good place to go if you're interested in a few pieces that need to be restored -- one side of the store is filled with what McKey calls "works in progress."
